In 2020 Community Fundraising efforts had to move in new directions due to Covid. At Save a Lot our Customers answered the call in a BIG WAY!
The Kewanee Area United Way was our first Round up ever, we were able to Donate $500 to them thanks to our customers generosity!

Fundraising for the 2021 Toy Drive, Our Customers Donated $2245.17 during our 6 week campaign! Since 2020 Our customers have Given $4745.17 to Patchy's Toy Drive!

Our Final Round up of 2021 was for Abilities Plus! We began just After thanksgiving and ended just after Christmas! Once again through the generosity of our customers we Collected over $2092.79 for this great organization!

2021 UPDATE!
In 2021 We were able to donate 346 Bags to the Kewanee Food Pantry Thanks to the generosity of our Customers!!
In addition to the bags we were also able to give the Kewanee Food Pantry a $250 check!
About the Project: Every year we host our Bags for a Brighter Holiday Project in an effort to support the communities near our stores. We put together pre-made bags filled with holiday meal essentials that our customers can donate to a local food charity. These bags cost $4.99 and a donation bin can be found in our Kewanee Store. In 2020 our customers helped us donate 523 bags to our local food pantry. We are asking you to help us support our community this holiday season by donating a pre-made meal bag at your Kewanee Save a Lot. Bags will be donated to The Kewanee Food Pantry that has partnered with your local Save-A-Lot Store.
Since 2015 our Customers have Donated 1723 bags! Thank You for supporting your local Food Pantry!
